Meets (Bellcore) Telcordia Specification TR-NWT-002812 for Cable Cleaning Solvents. It is a non-citrus cleaner that quickly removes sticky cable filling and flooding compounds, lubricants, gels, greases, c-cement, and other petroleum-based products from cable, splices, and utility work tools. Removes water blocking compounds, carbon, and other contaminants from splices on telecom, electrical, fiber optic, and CATV cables. VOC compliant in California and other areas where VOC compliance is a concern for cleaning solvents. Safe on Noryl SEI modified PPO resin, ABS, Cycolac T, or Polycarbonate Lexan PPC 450 plastics, insulating, and semi-conducting polyethylenes. Its low-odor formula and very high flash point (221 degrees F) mean safety and comfort for workers in such environments as manholes, vaults, and equipment closures. It is ready to use with no mixing. Always ensure proper ventilation when using any cleaning solvent. Contains no chlorinated solvents, CFCs, HCFCs, or other ozone-depleting compounds.
